Measures approx. 35" x 24" (with border), 32" x 20" (image). ** Please note that there is a minor discoloration on the right side of the border that will not be noticeable once the piece is framed. The artwork is being auctioned with this in mind. All sales are final. **

Stan Joel Strickland was born in south Georgia. He learned printing as a child and went on to work as a newspaperman, machinist, and air traffic controller. After four years in the Air Force, he attended the University of Tulsa, where he studied fine and professional arts. Strickland has been named Georgia’s Artist of Excellence and was awarded an honorary professorship at Georgia College & State University. He is best known for his series “Speaking Highly of the South,” a portrayal of the Old South during the Civil War. He works out of his studio in historic Milledgeville, Georgia.

Items which are found to be as described or non-damaged will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the shipping and handling charges and transaction fees will not be refundable. Damaged items or personal preference returns must be made within the 15-day period.

3) If you must cancel an order prior to shipment, the order is handled as a return and you will be assessed a 15% re-stocking fee. Excessive cancellation may result in the revocation of bidding privileges.

Shipping & Handling: $18 within the contiguous United States. If shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada $40 additional.
