Our recently constructed SANDOS RIVIERA, forms part of the Sandos Playacar Resort & Spa and it is located within the renowned residential area of Playacar, sharing the beautiful beach from Sandos Playacar Beach within a short distance from Playa del Carmen main town and the pier to Cozumel and a 45-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport.

The Riviera Maya is a protected area with many remaining artifacts from the fascinating Mayan civilization and along the coast of the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort is the temple of Tulum where kings and priests vacationed more than 1,000 years ago. Even within the Resort grounds there are some amazing vestiges from the Mayan culture. Playacar is a private deluxe mainly residential development complex with a complete and self-contained infrastructure, including a challenging 18 hole golf course, designed by Robert Von Hagge.
