Enjoy 7 nights at the Villea Village on the Splendid Island of Crete in Greece!

Check-in Now thru October 24, 2008 and stay 7 nites at the Villea Village Resort located on the southeast coast, in the friendly village of Macrigialos.

Villea Village is a unique resort situated on the edge of a major agricultural area so it has the best of both worlds - retaining a village atmosphere whilst providing the necessary amenites that make a perfect vacation experience. Villea's studio apartments all have either a balcony or terrace that mainly overlook the central garden. Villea is built in an olive grove and these trees provide shade in the gardens and pool area. Relax in one of the hotels's hammocks - a great way to chill out on a hot day. The abundance of vegetation makes Villea feel quiet and peaceful even when we are full. All apartments have terrestrial television and direct dial telephone. An Internet cafe and satellite television is available in the lobby.

Villea is built in traditional whitewashed Greek style and the two-story buildings enclose a verdant and tranquil central garden with a large swimming pool only 100 meters from a 1-mile long beach.

Each building has from 6 - 11 units. The studios units sleep two persons and come with a kitchenette and private bathroom. All studios are furnished in typical Greek style.

In the main building, you find the reception, lobby and an Internet cafe. There is also a breakfast room, bar and an outdoor veranda, facing the pool. Here we serve a breakfast buffet and you can also have a light lunch. In the evening, relax with a drink and listen to music.

The pool is the largest in this part of Macrigialos. It is surrounded by olive trees. Our guests can enjoy reading and relaxing in the shade. The pool-bar offers cool drinks and snacks. By the pool there is also an old fishing boat where the children can play while parents can enjoy the sun and swimming.

Next to the pool-bar, there is a traditional Cretan still where the local "moonshine" raki is produced every week. A wood oven and a BBQ complete this typical Cretan corner where guests can cook their own meals or join in the special evenings the management organizes.

Taxi transportation from Heraklion Airport to Villea Village can be arranged for a fee of $60, payable locally.
