into Honolulu, Island of OAHU
Once there, your 11 day Hawaiian FLY/DRIVE Holiday begins!
ITINERARY
Day 1, Island of Oahu and Waikiki Beach
Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at the Honolulu International Airport, you will be met with traditional flower lei, assisted through baggage claim and transferred to brand new Aqua Wave Superior Wave accommodation. Remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore this fascinating city within a city, Waikiki.
Day 2, Island of Oahu
This morning we invite you to come to one of our hospitality desks or orientation for our professional staff to review some of the many exciting things to do and see on Oahu. Later, you will pick up your Dollar Rental car to begin your journey. We suggest an easy drive around the eastern side of Oahu to view Diamond Head, the Kahala residential district - our very own Beverly Hills, Hanauma Bay, Waimanalo and Nuuanu Pali Lookout. We suggest a stop at Sea Life Park for a fabulous introduction to the many colorful fishes, dolphins, seals, sharks and whales that inhabit our ocean .
Day3, Island of Oahu
Today we suggest a mid morning drive around to the north side of the island, stopping at the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor enroute. During this historical stop you can even board the USS Missouri, the battleship upon which the treaty ending World War II was signed Continuing through the center of the island will take you to the north shore sights and as you loop around the island a suggested stop is the Polynesian Cultural Center, the largest living historical display of Polynesia in the world.
Day 4, Oahu to Kauai, The Garden Isle
After returning your rental car in Waikiki, you will be transferred to the Honolulu International Airport for a brief 20-minute flight to Lihue on the Eastern side of Kauai. After check in at the Aloha Beach Resort, we recommend an easy drive to the north shore. Sunset overlooking Hanalei Bay in Princeville is also a glorious a site the world has to offer.

Day5, Island of Kauai
This morning after your included breakfast, an absolutely magnificent way to see Kauai is via helicopter excursions around the island to the Na Pali coastline. This coastline is inaccessible by car and is sure to be a top highlight of your trip. Later in the morning we recommend a drive along the southern coast to the Waimea Canyon - the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", returning for a mid-day ride up the Wailua River to the "Fern Grotto".
Day 6, Kauai to Hawaii, The Big Island
After returning your rental car at the Lihue Airport, an early afternoon flight will take you to the Keahole, Kona Airport on the Western side of the island of Hawaii. A lazy drive through the fishing village of Kailua might extend on to the City of Refuge or 'place of shelter' before your evening meal, perhaps in Kailua before going on to the Keauhou Beach Resort.
Day 7, Island of Hawaii - Kona Side
Today, we recommend you plan an early full day excursion taking the southern route to Hilo and enjoying Hawaii's Volcano National Park Coffee and macadamia nut farms are enroute. Bring lots of film and your rental car can take you as close as a mile away from the eruption sites. From here we recommend a journey through Hilo and perhaps stop at an orchid nursery before traveling via the northern route, the Hamakua coastline. A stop in Waimea is a must and the high road down to Kailua-Kona is the most scenic way to the west coast of Hawaii and Kailua.
Day 8, Island of Hawaii - Kona Side
This morning should be spent partaking in one of the many water activities in Kona. You may wish to try the Fairwinds Snorkel excursion to historical Kealakekua Bay or the Atlantis Submarine ride. There is also excellent deep-sea fishing and scuba diving. Perhaps, a round of optional golf and shopping are also available for you to enjoy.

Day 9, Hawaii to Maui, The Valley Isle
This afternoon, a flight is scheduled for you to go to Maui. The 28-mile scenic drive to the Kaanapali Beach Hotel.
Day 10, Island of Maui
Today, you may wish to drive a half-day excursion, which you will take to the top of Mt. Haleakala, a 3,000-meter dormant volcano that composes the entire eastern side of the island of Maui. For the evening, we recommend a sunset dinner cruise off the town of Lahaina. Or perhaps during the winter months a sunset whale watching cruise. If you prefer a full day driving excursion, when coming down from Mt. Haleakala, consider continuing on the road to Hana, the epitome of the Sunday afternoon drive.
Day 11, Departure Day
We recommend a day off the road with time for last minute shopping and sunbathing. As with Kauai and Hawaii, you will simply return your Dollar rental car at the airport prior to departure. Allow three hours time from leaving the hotel to return the car and check in for you flight home.
