Hotel Phillips in downtown Kansas City, Mo., is less than two miles from Union Station. Within two miles are shopping and entertainment at Crown Center and the Liberty Memorial and World War One Museum. The Country Club Plaza and Nelson Atkins Museum of Art are four miles from the property. With Art Deco style and a trendy atmosphere, Hotel Phillips offers a unique experience. The golden sculpture, Dawn, overlooks the lobby from her second floor perch. The property boasts a guest list including former United States presidents. The hotel was built in 1931 and occupies a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. Offered dining options include the steak and wine restaurant off the lobby, Phillips ChopHouse, and 12 Baltimore Café and Bar, known for its martini list.
