On a hillside in Grenada sits a handful of delightful villas, amidst the tropical trees of a hidden garden. Hardwood decks from the forests of Guyana are finished with twisted local Cedar balustrades and bamboo screens sheltering hammocks from the sea breeze. Set into these decks are private massaging hot tubs overlooking the ocean. This is Maca Bana… ‘Maca’ is the Arawak word for tree and ‘bana’ means place of dwelling. 'Maca Bana' is lazy luxury and soulful relaxation within nature’s bounty. The garden’s tropical flowers and fruit trees attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bananaquits, white egrets and the occasional hawk. Herons live on the cliff-side and Pelicans visit annually every winter, you may be lucky and catch a sight of all of these wild birds! Accommodations are based on a maximum of 3 - 4 guests in a Deluxe Villa. Every villa is cleverly oriented to have sea views whilst also being set amidst lush gardens, planted for maximum privacy and delight. Each villa is named for its surrounding flora and themed accordingly within, Pineapple Villa, Avocado Villa and Pawpaw... literally pick your fruit right from the tree!
