HighlightsSituated on the beach, Pono Kai Resort is on the eastern coast of Kauai, where the average annual temperature is 70 degrees. Relax by the resort's outdoor pool or on the beach. You'll also find volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, and putting greens on site, as well as croquet. You can play golf at one of several courses close by. For more action, head offshore and try surfing, snorkeling, boating, or fishing. Kauai is called the "Garden Isle" because of its natural beauty. Take helicopter tours over the lovely beaches and scenic viewpoints. The resort is family oriented.
Additional Information All units at Pono Kai Resort have 2 TVs, a
telephone, VCP, stereo, hairdryer, iron
and ironing board. Studio units and some
1 bedroom units have partial kitchens.
Imperial and Presidential units have full
kitchens. AIR CONDITIONING IS *ONLY* IN
THE LIVING ROOM OF THE 1BR UNITS. 2BR
UNITS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING IN THE MASTER
BEDROOM AND LIVING ROOM. Resort cannot
guarantee an oceanfront unit. Studio
units OCC: Max 2/Pri 2 have 1 bath and
full murphy bed. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/
Pri 4 have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and sleep
sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 6 have 2
baths, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 sleep
sofa. There are charges for local and long
distance calls. No pets allowed. Security
deposit of US$50 due at check-in. For a
nominal fee, portable cribs and rollaways
are available by request. Highchairs and
playpens available upon request. Washers/
dryers are available in each building,
except the "K" building. Keys
turned in and incidentals paid at front
desk after check-out of each unit. Trans
tax ranges from US$15 - US$35 per room
confirmed and will be collected by the
resort. No ocean views available.
