HighlightsLocated in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills, Foxrun Resort at Fairfield Mountains offers 2,700 acres for guests to enjoy golf, tennis, and other outdoor activities. Water sports are available on beautiful Lake Lure at the resort. In addition to the two 18-hole golf courses and four tennis courts, the resort offers a recreation center and both indoor and outdoor pools. Nearby sight-seeing attractions include the Biltmore House and Gardens, Chimney Rock, and the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site. Due to the size of the resort, some amenities may require a car.
Additional Information You'll feel right at home in your air-
conditioned unit with a full kitchen,
microwave oven, washer/dryer, cable TV,
VCR, CD player, hair dryers, telephone,
fireplace and whirlpool tub. 2BR units
OCC: Max06/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 1 king bed,
2 double beds and a sleep sofa; stairs
are required to access all units. There
are steps going up or down in all units.
Check-in is at 4PM. THE OFFICE IS OPEN
UNTIL 7PM. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AFTER 7PM
YOU MUST CONTACT THE RESORT IN ADVANCE AT
828/625-0097. No pets are allowed. For
long distance calls, you must use a
calling card or call collect. A car is
recommended to fully enjoy the area. The
property covers several miles and it may
be necessary to drive to some on-site
amenities. The lake can be anywhere from
1/2 to 4 miles from the units. RV's, boats
motorhomes, motorcycles and trailers are
not allowed on-site, but storage is
available for a fee. Lake Lure requires
boat and lake permit, out of state
license, boat docking fee and North
Carolina fishing license. Not all
amenities are open in the winter season.
